The Alliance Women’s Business Center is a program of the Minority/Women Business Enterprise Alliance for women entrepreneurs. The WBC is primarily sponsored by the U.S. SBA and is partially funded by Universal Orlando. We are devoted to provide training and technical assistance to new and nascent women entrepreneurs, placing particular emphasis on reaching out to socially and economically disadvantaged populations. Most of our clients are women who want to start a business and do not know where to start. We take away the mystery of business and make it accessible to you. Attend one of our weekly Orientations and find out more about who we are and why we are committed to serve you.

Our Services

Any woman who wants to start a business or is already running a small business can benefit from the following free services:

Business counseling: We provide one-on-one counseling, as well as telephone and email counseling. We deal on a day-to-day basis with women having no previous business experience and we thrive when helping them achieve their goals. Do not feel threatened by your lack of business experience. We are here for you when you need us.

Training: The WBC workshops are tailored to women entrepreneur needs. We strive to avoid the business lingo that has historically scared women away from the business arena, making it easy for you to understand business concepts. We are committed to provide you with the tools you require to be successful in business. Most of our workshops are free of charge for your convenience. A few of them have a nominal fee. For more information on our training, see Women’s Business Center Calendar .

Mentoring: WNET is a monthly roundtable program where we invite successful business women from different industries as guest speakers with the purpose of sharing their experiences, challenges and the way they overcame them. We try to match these successful businesswomen with women starting their businesses or struggling with them so they can serve as mentors and provide practical support and guidance to our clients.

Networking: Developing a strong network of businesswomen is a goal of the WBC as we attempt to help our clients market and grow their businesses.

Loan Assistance: Access to capital is one of the major needs of every start-up and struggling business. We assist women business owners by giving information about their options to get the needed capital.

Technical Assistance: Information is at the heart of business in our fast changing world. Consequently, we supply technical assistance to our clients to ensure the success of their businesses.

Bilingual Services: An ethnically diverse staff is available to serve our clients.
